With going out and about, you will face some curbs and you may accidentally go on the wrong turn and think "How am I going to do this?". Here is some advice on how to overcome those cursed curbs.
If you see a slanted curb on your side of the road, don't go charging at it. Look on the other side of the road. Is the curb opposite similar. Does it have a slant that makes it easy for your chair to get up? Then when you find the appropriate curb you can go ahead and cross the road.
If you suddenly hit a gap and you are in a manual wheelchair, you look out for cars and then do a quick wheelie and your front wheels should land on the curb and you can do about three pushes and you will get up.
For safety, make sure you have your anti-tip bar on. And remember road safety. If there is a traffic light please make sure it goes green. I don't like it when people cross the road whilst the red man is still there, they are putting their lives in danger.
